何故かは知らんが、ECCにて大晦日にニューイヤーパーリー。

We had New Year’s Party on New Year’s Eve in ECC.
子どもたちを集めてレクリエーション。ほんの2時間くらいやったけど、子どもたちは大盛り上がりで、マダイはすごく嬉しそうな笑顔。
最後は、みんなでECC提供のご飯を食べて終了。その時、ナオさんが、知り合いのフレッシーという会社からいただいたジュースを子どもたちに配ってくれた。
ECCにも、それ相応のお金はかかったみたいやけど、必要経費かな、これは。マダイ(※)も楽しみにしてたし。
※マダイ…クメール語で「ママ」の意。ここでは、ECCの運営者の奥さん（共同運営？）のことです。毎日、義妹さんと食事を作ってくれてます。

We did recreation with children. It was only around 2 hours but children enjoyed so much. And Madai* also looked very happy smile.
In the end, everybody ate meals made by ECC. At that time, Nao gave them juices supplied from Freshy company she knows.
ECC spent the money for the party, but it was necessary. I thought so.
*Madai… It means ‘Mama’ in Khmer. In this case, it means the wife of the ECC’s manager. She cooks meals with her stepsister everyday.

子どもたちが去った後、僕らもご飯を頂いて、色々話して、23時くらいには就寝。
ここにきてから健康的。

After children went home, we also ate it and talked about many things. And we went to bed around 11pm.
Since coming here, I’m spending healthy life.
ちなみに、別に元旦は特別なことは何もなく、いつもどおりの日常。
カンボジアの文化なのか、ECC特有のものなのか、、、
特に言及しなかったのは、たぶんどうでもよかったからなんやろな。

By the way, we didn’t have special event on New Year’s Day. It was just day as usual.
I wonder if it’s Cambodian culture, or just ECC culture…
Because I didn’t mentioned it, I guess that it was indifferent for me.
