チェンマイでは、予約してた宿ミントハウスへ。

I arrived at the guesthouse, Mint House, that I had already reserved in Chiang Mai.
まさかのこの宿で1週間ほど連泊。

I didn’t expect that I would have stayed here 1 week.
チェンマイも半年前に来てたし、観光する気は無かったんやけど、ある日、仲良くなった他の宿泊客ジュリアン、のぞみさん、とドイステープまで原付で桜を観に行くことに。
I didn’t have a plan to go sightseeing. But I got the chance to go to Doistep for watching Sakura with Julien and Nozomi who were my good friends who I met in the guesthouse on the first day. We travelled by scooters.
実は自分、原付、10年くらい運転してないペーパー。というのも、最後に運転した時に事故起こして、それがトラウマになってたわけで。この旅中も避けて通ってきたが、ここで思い立って挑戦することに。

Actually I hadn’t driven a scooter for 10 years. This was because I had gotten in an accident which traumatized me. But, this time I tried it.

無事事故なく、桜を拝んで帰宅。
日本にもレンタルバイクあったらええのにな。
ただ、所有する、ほどではない。それなら車が欲しい。PAOが欲しい。

I could go back after watching sakura without any problems.
I thought japan should have rental services for scooters as I don’t need to buy one. I need a car. I want a PAO*.
*PAO… it’s a car made by Nissan.
